Welcome to the Commissioners Area of the Direct Health Website. As a company we pride ourselves on offering local solutions to local concerns. Whilst we are a company that operate from 18 branches throughout the Midlands and the North, our branches operate as autonomous business units with close links to local communities and local people. Our aim is to work in partnership with key local stakeholders to provide individually tailored responses to the issues faced locally.

A number of examples of the sorts of services we offer are detailed below, all of which have come about as a result of conversations with local commissioners and in recognition of a particular local need. These services have proved to be effective for both Service Users and commissioners and have represented excellent value for money.

As an outcome based service provider we are committed to self directed, personalised care and support services tailored to meet individual needs and aspirations. We use a variety of assessment techniques and toolkits to create a holistic Personal Service Plan that is based on ability not disability and which concentrates on maximising choice and control for the Service User.

Outcomes are rigorously monitored and reviewed to ensure that plans are meeting their desired goals with clear action plans to support improvement where necessary.
