Ways To Pay

We have set up some new ways to pay to make it easier to manage your allocation of funds from Social Services for your care and support:-

  • We can arrange to take payment as a direct debit - you receive an invoice 15 days before payment is taken out of your account, so you know what is happening.
  • We can take your payments over the phone, if you have either a debit or credit card – this just takes a phone call to our Finance Department.
  • We have a holding account at our bank where your allocated money can be deposited directly from Social Services.
  • We work with the Local Authority pre-paid cards where we can hold the card and process the invoice payments for you. The money cannot be taken for anything else but your agreed services. You do not have to take any further action to pay once the card is set up, but you and your representative will be able to track the services you receive, the payments we take, and the balance of your allocated amount.
  • We have Managed Accounts for people who cannot manage cash on a daily basis, where the family give us money to go shopping, which we give direct to the care and support worker and maintain the accounts in the office.
  • For those who only deal in cash arrangements, we are able to give you a personal paying-in book. You take your invoice to our bank (Lloyds) and your personal book pays your cash payment directly to your individual account number with us.
  • We are looking at offering to pay other services or facilities, like club memberships, on your behalf if you would like us to.
  • You have protection and confidentiality guaranteed because:

  • You have regular statements to follow exactly what is happening in the account
  • It gives security from others interfering with managing the care and support fund
